Graham Hill’s passing, and that of his teammates, caused an outpouring of grief at the time. This letter is a hugely significant piece of history as it proves that Graham would likely have been knighted had he survived beyond 1975. Graham Hill was a prolific letter writer and had a hugely active social life, remaining good friends with everyone from royalty to the workshop floor.
