Launched at the 1984 Paris show, the Pininfarina-penned Testarossa was aimed directly at the American market. With a 5.3-second zero to sixty and a 180-mph top speed, the Testarossa was one of the most impressive cars of the time period. It was initially so popular that buyer frenzy fueled additional dealer markups, which peaked at about $150,000. Between 1985 and 1991 a total of 7,200 Testarossas were sold.
The Testarossa on offer is handsomely finished in the desirable exterior finish of Rosso Corsa. This Ferrari is powered by a 4.9-liter, 390-hp horizontally-opposed, flat twelve-cylinder, fuel-injected engine which is paired to a five-speed transaxle. Additional exterior features on this Testarossa include factory alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, full instrumentation (speed displayed in kilometers per hour) and numerous convenience amenities. The black leather interior features bucket seats and Ferrariās customary gated shifter. Past maintenance includes a major engine-out service in which the belts were replaced. This service was completed in February of 2015.
