This charming bronze is mounted on a walnut base and celebrates the invention of the automobile, illustrating its sweeping impact over a short period of time in automotive history. “The Benz Centennial” depicts two gentlemen in an early Benz automobile at speed with a dog giving chase. It is presented here as a foundry copy of the limited edition of 30 examples that were produced.
