Presented here are two desktop display models of the Bugatti Model 100 airplane, in very presentable condition. This plane was designed under the guidance of Ettore Bugatti just prior to World War Two. It was intended to challenge the world speed record, believed to be capable of speeds in excess of 500 mph. However, just as the Model 100 was nearing completion, the Germans invaded France, eliminating the opportunity to test this innovative aircraft.
