Momo/Stand 21
1986
23 × 36 × 3.5 in.
Ayrton Senna started the 1986 season well, finishing 2nd in Brazil and then winning the Spanish Grand Prix by a hair over Nigel Mansell. However, Senna’s second and final win of the season would come at the U.S. Grand Prix at Detroit. He would ultimately finish 4th in the drivers’ standings again.
Offered is an exceptional piece of F1 memorabilia from Senna’s time in the Lotus Renault 98T. Mounted and framed in an attractive display case is a used Momo steering wheel along with a pair of well-worn Stand 21 driving gloves. The steering wheel is signed by Ayrton Senna in gold pen, while the left-hand glove is signed across the knuckles. The signatures are believed to be authentic. Also included is a framed correspondence confirming the authenticity of the pieces.
