Ford’s Bronco was an immediate competitor to Jeep’s CJ series and International-Harvester’s Scout in 1966. For a solid 30 years, from the small-but-mighty first series to the post-1977 full-sized version, the Bronco was a staple in American off-roading and sport utility diets. Early versions, such as this restored turquoise example are becoming very desirable. A rebuilt 302-cid V-8 powers this little powerhouse and is mated to a three-speed column-shift manual transmission. The engine compartment is incredibly tidy and well detailed. The 4x4 set-up is only icing on the cake for this otherwise delicious dish. As the truck market continues to grow in the collector’s world, this Bronco will only continue to be appreciated.
