The Fairlane Crown Victoria is easily noticed with its “Crown of Chrome,” (as described by Ford marketing) and its low-slung, stylish silhouette that made this the trend setter for hardtop coupes in mid-fifties America. Power is provided by a Y-block 272-cid V-8 engine that runs with dual exhaust and has been paired with an automatic transmission. The sleek lines are well-illustrated with the two-tone red and white paint that nicely shows off the abundant brightwork trim elements and is complemented by a similarly toned interior.

The car has approximately 90,000 original miles and many desirable features; among them are a driver’s side spotlight, AM radio, heater and defroster, power steering, wraparound windshield, power steering and a new-for-1951 Astra-Dial dashboard. The exterior exhibits a Continental kit, fender skirts and radial whitewall tires mounted on steel wheels with factory hubcaps.
