Roomy and stylish in typical Buick fashion of the era, this 1955 Buick Special Convertible has received a total restoration and has been in an air conditioned warehouse since the current owner purchased the car in 2004. It has only been driven 1,000 miles during this time and has always been serviced by his local experts. The Buick has been driven less than 1,900 miles since the completion of its restoration. The car is finely presented in the desirable two-tone combination of white over red. This is beautifully complemented by its red and white interior; that is stated to be in “excellent condition.” All of the chrome components are also said to be exceptional.

The standard engine for the Buick Special in 1955 is a 322-cid, 188-hp V-8 with four-barrel carburetion. The convertible is reported to “run great”, and it looks the part with stylish Skylark wire wheels, Continental kit (also with wire wheel), Coker radial wide whitewall tires, recognizable "portholes" and beautiful brightwork. Other features on the Buick are a power convertible top and a working AM radio.
