Had the Beach Boys never recorded "409", the engine would still be one of the legendary high performance V-8s from the musclecar era. With notables like Don Nicholson and Hayden Proffitt behind the wheel, full size cars like Chevys Bel Air enjoyed racetrack dominance and all the good press that went with it in 1963.
The Bel Air you see here has the proven 409 under the hood with dual quads that puts out 425bhp and is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The car features period style clear seat covers, a factory style tachometer, and wears aftermarket wheels and tires but includes factory style ones for the lucky buyer.
