The Windsor Town and Country was the upgrade version of the Royal including luxury on par with the New Yorker line. The Town and Country sedan was very rare and few survived and only offered with the six cylinder engine. The Town and Country was very limited production. This was an expensive car when new, being that it was hand-built and assembled with top quality white ash and Mahogany inserts. This is one of the most unique and memorable production cars ever built. This one enjoyed a recent body up restoration with new maroon paint. Most wood is original, with approximately one-third replaced, varnished and sealed. A new interior with carpet have also been fitted. The glass is in good condition and chrome has been redone as needed. The options for this woodie include radio, heater, sun-visors, wide whitewall tires and chrome hubcaps with trim rings. The six cylinder engine with automatic runs and drives very nice and continues to be a unique show stopper.
