Renowned designer Richard Teague penned the Caribbean’s handsome lines with elements inspired in part by the 1952 Packard Pan American. Only 750 examples – all convertibles – were produced in this first year of availability. This stunning car is powered by a 327-cid, 180-hp inline eight-cylinder engine with optional Ultramatic transmission.

The Maroon Metallic finish was one of six available colors; the interior is richly appointed in two colors of leather and trimmed with stylish chrome appointments. Chrome wire wheels with wide whitewall tires add to the classic richness of this era of automobile. The Continental kit was standard equipment. It is optioned generously, including power windows. It won national first prize, senior division honors in 2010 with the Antique Automobile Club of America and is period correct in all regards.
