This beautiful 1970 GTO Judge is a truly exceptional example that represents a concours level of finish thanks to a careful and complete rotisserie restoration. As the accompanying pictures demonstrate, the work was performed with thorough attention to every detail. The 400-cid, 366-hp Ram Air III V-8 is the original and correct unit mated to its original M21 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission; a rather scarce combination as only 452 of 3,629 1970 Judge hardtops were so equipped. Power is delivered to a factory nodular rear end carrying a versatile 3.90:1 gearset.

Creature comforts and driver aids include power steering, bucket seats and console, Rally gauges and wood-rimmed steering wheel. Finished in uncommon Atoll Blue with matching Judge graphic treatment; the car stays true to its origins with painted five-spoke steel Rally wheels and raised-white-letter Firestone tires. Additionally the Pontiac is equipped with factory hood tach, heavy-duty radiator, heavy-duty shocks and springs, plus rear window defogger.

GTO buyers enjoyed a wealth of power and option choices in 1970, including the popular “Judge”, which featured the Ram Air III V-8, a large rear spoiler and brilliant graphics. Today the Judge is one of the most collectible of the long line of great musclecar-era Pontiacs.

Overall this is a correctly-restored 1970 GTO Judge Ram Air III in immaculate, pristine condition. No expense was spared in the restoration process. The owner reports over $75,000 in receipts just for the restoration work alone. This car needs absolutely nothing and runs, drives, and looks like it did when it was new. The car comes with PHS documentation, Protect-O-Plate and a copy of original window sticker and build sheet.
