This is reported as a well-known 1965 Ford Falcon Sprint that has been set up as a racecar for many decades. A rare car to begin with (one of only 2,806 produced), it has been prepared and improved upon since the 1960s and currently sports a fresh 302-cid V-8 engine that has been balanced, blueprinted and stroked to 347 cubic inches. The all-new internals have been built by a Woods Brothers NASCAR engine specialist in North Carolina. The engine is also fitted with a complete MSD ignition system and an oversized custom aluminum NASCAR radiator.

This fantastic powerplant is backed by the indestructible T-10 toploader four-speed manual transmission and similarly heavy-duty custom built Ford nine-inch rear end with Moser axles. The engine has run only a few break-in events since that time and the rest of the driveline is competition ready; including disc brakes at all four corners with Wilwood Dynalite calipers and close-ratio rack-and-pinion steering. Notably, quite a bit of work was done to the car just prior to being offered, including a partial front-end rebuild.

The car rides on competition rubber mounted to Bassett stock car 8 X 15-inch rims. Safety equipment includes a set of certified harnesses, a fresh fire system, 22-gallon R.J.S. fuel cell and a generously-overbuilt full rollcage.

Most recently, this car has been the pride of a seasoned vintage racer in the mid-Atlantic region, who also served as General Manager for Virginia International Raceway near Danville, Virginia for many years. As such, it comes with SVRA and VDCA logbooks that permit the car to be run with those groups, as well as VRG, HSR and many other sanctioning bodies. There is also documentation from the car running in the 1993 Sebring HIstorics.
