This 1972 Corvette is a two-owner car originally from New Jersey that was taken off the road in 1973 after a near-miss encounter. The Corvette was trailered to, and won, numerous car show awards until the mid-1980s when the car was put on blocks and not driven again until the current owner purchased the car in 2000; it now shows slightly over 22,000 actual miles. Certainly low by any standard for a car of this model year.

The Corvette is equipped with air conditioning; power windows, steering and four wheel disc brakes. This is the last year that Corvette used chromed, steel bumpers on front and rear, had the vacuum-activated windshield wiper cover and removable rear window. This car also has the original Dark Saddle interior, and it is reported to be in excellent condition. The original stereo radio is still in the car. It also features a tilt/telescopic steering wheel. The transmission is an automatic TH400. The engine is a Ram Jet 350-cid port fuel-injected General Motors Crate engine that delivers 350 horsepower and has a hydraulic roller camshaft.

The Sunflower Yellow paint was redone in 2003 using base and clear coat. The car has an LT-1 hood for clearance of the Ram Jet. Arizona Speed and Marine did a custom program of the Ram Jet ECU to fine tune idle/cold start/gas mileage; plus it has the provision for the future use of headers and ASM CO² kit, if desired. The Corvette is fitted with a high performance starter, SSBC custom brake system with polished calipers, Rock Valley gas tank with in-tank fuel pump and braided fuel lines, Vette Brakes and Products (VBP) Performance Plus fully adjustable custom suspension system, Borla pipes and mufflers that replicate the original exhaust set-up and American Racing Torq Thrust 2 polished rims with spinners; the Nitto tires are new.

This Corvette has been garaged and pampered throughout by its two owners. During the restoration/modification, great care was taken to not deface the beautiful originality of the C3 body design, interior and engine bay. The Ram Jet engine is installed around many original components in an effort to blend the modern engine with the period correct engine compartment.

There are a few minor issues that include converting the tachometer to work with the modern engine, minor paint chips, the air conditioning unit needs recharging, and the oil pressure gauge and clock need servicing.
