This is a wonderful example of a Jaguar XKE, inspiring in British Racing Green national motoring colors. Its combination of good looks, high-performance and competitive pricing established the marque as an icon of 1960s motoring.

To further illustrate this point, in March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranked first in the London Daily Telegraph list of the "100 most beautiful cars" of all time. In 2004, Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on their list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s. The New York City Museum of Modern Art recognized the significance of the E-Type design in 1996 by adding a roadster to its permanent design collection, one of only six automobiles to receive the distinction. Even Enzo Ferrari gave his warm opinion of this cars timeless style.

Running with the 4.2-liter version of the Jaguar inline six-cylinder engine; this example has a four-speed manual transmission and effective four-wheel disc brakes. The interior is complementary in green and the soft-top is black; a luggage rack, knock-off wire wheels, wood-rimmed steering wheel, an array of aircraft-type toggle switches and Smiths analog instrumentation provide the trappings to enjoy this vehicle in all settings.
