The Type 2 bus' are known as “Bay Windows” for its large non-split windshield. The second generation VW Bus added greater visibility, safety and reliability. They also had much more comfortable qualities and refinements including: 1,600-cc dual port motor, four-speed manual transmission and front disc power brakes. The interior is equipped with tables, seats, sink, icebox, closet, curtains and cabinets. Inside it is quite spacious and has a pop-up top that has room to sleep two and allows most to be able to stand comfortably. This particular Volkswagen Westfalia has underwent a cosmetic refinishing including recently being repainted in its original Ivory White; brand new rubber seals, mats, trim and moldings.
