Introduced in 1955, the Ford Thunderbird had come a long way in ten years. By now Thunderbirds had gone through three previous generational styles and the standard options had changed. Standard for 1965 were front disc brakes and double-sided keys. This was also the first year for the sequential turn signals to indicate intentions to following motorists. This Thunderbird has undergone a cosmetic restoration including new paint, new interior and a new white top. Door seals and rubbers have also been replaced. The 390-cid V-8 engine is paired with an automatic transmission. Options included on this Thunderbird include air conditioning; power steering, brakes, windows and top.
