Whether T-Track or Track-T, the genre is the same: a Model T Ford roadster “bucket” on a Ford frame, or one of the owner’s choosing, a turtle deck and a hotted-up engine of popular persuasion. Time was the engine invariably was a flathead Ford; today the usual choice is small-block Chevrolet. The T-Track is so popular and well understood that you can buy a kit and build one.
This T-Track fits the pattern perfectly: a fiberglass body with full bellypan, small-block Chevrolet with four-barrel carb and Hydra-Matic with pistol grip shifter. It has the archetypal blunt street-rodder nose, rollcage, black-buttoned leather interior, AM/FM radio and side pipes. The windshield is plexiglass. This T-Track is mainstream. It’s also sweet.
