Superior Serial no. 12L6041146

472-cid, 220-hp OHV V-8 engine, three-speed Hydra-Matic transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and four-wheel power hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 157.5-inches

Built as a hearse by Superior Coach Corporation of Lima, Ohio, this vehicle bears the mark of George Barris, King of the Kustoms. Exterior touches are minor, mainly comprising capped side exhaust pipes. The interior; however, has had massive renovations. Done in a tiger-stripe motif, it has imitation tiger skin on the front seat and side bars in the rear compartment. There are black leather lounge seats in the rear, one aft of the sliding glass division partition, the other at the extreme rear. The side bars are outfitted with appropriate glassware.

Equipped with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning, the car also has windshield washers and a Pioneer stereo. The fold-down front seat armrest bears the Barris Kustom coat of arms. The ultimate, if macabre, party wagon, this Cadillac will appeal to a select crowd.
