Documentation provided with this original 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 SportsRoof, including the original build sheet and purchase order, indicates that it was delivered new to Herb Stein Ford, Inc. in North Jackson, Ohio. As a Boss 302, its standard equipment included “Hi-Back” vinyl bucket seats, a four-speed transmission, power front disc brakes, color-keyed carpet and racing mirrors, a space-saver spare tire, quick ratio steering, competition suspension, a functional front spoiler, special instruments and gauges. At extra charge, the car was also equipped with Magnum 500 chrome wheels, Traction-Lok differential, rear spoiler, AM radio, tachometer and raised white letter belted tires.
