This beautiful and uncommon delivery van is the recipient of a complete frame-off restoration. The consignor states that “everything is new,” and also that this restoration was executed on a documented original Coca-Cola delivery van from 1940 vintage. This process cost in excess of $150,000 and is well-detailed throughout. The restoration was completed in 2008, and the van has only been driven less than 100 miles since.

The power is derived from its 221-cid V-8 engine with a column-mounted three-speed manual transmission. The vehicle has a two-speed Columbia rear end. The interior is finished in tan and the fine attention to detail is again in evidence. The rear bed has a finished wood deck and the interior sides are covered in the same tan material seen within the cabin area.

The exterior has many distinctive brightwork trim elements, the Coca-Cola logo is hand-painted, it is fitted with dual mirrors and has factory hubcaps with color-keyed steel wheels and whitewall tires. The overall look is as classic as the beverage brand it was built to carry.

The Coca-Cola delivery van has received numerous awards. Among these are First Place in the Commercial Class at the 2009 Forest Grove Concours d’Elegance and another First Place, also in the Commercial Class at the 2012 Columbia River Concours d’Elegance. The owner feels that this vehicle is “as close to a 100 point show car as can be found.” It is reported to run and drive in an excellent manner.
