In his 1990 painting Two in a Row, Alfredo De la María depicts French racing driver Albert Divo piloting his Bugatti Type 35C to victory at the 1929 Targa Florio. Closely following Divo is his teammate Ferdinand Minoia. Divo and Minoia both raced factory-entered Type 35s at the 1929 event and earned 1st and 2nd place, respectively. Albert Divo had a successful racing career, with notable victories racing for Sunbeam and Delage. Incredibly, Divo’s win at the 1929 Targa Florio, with an average speed of 74 km/h, was his second win in a row at the venue.
