This Hudson-powered race car was purchased as a complete car, less engine, prior to World War II by a gentleman named George Place from Ohio. Mr. Place is able to convey that the car has an original alloy body that is fitted to a drilled and lightened Ford Model A frame with an original 1932 Ford front axle.

The car is said to have always run Hudson “Sixes,” the current power is derived from a 308 Hornet that is connected to an in-out gearbox. The car has a quick-change, front crank tach-drive, external sump oil pump, needle-bearing cam, and early gauges. The wheels are alloy discs and they are mounted with a center spindle knock-off.
