All Cabriolets came with a well-equipped platform that was based on the 3.4-liter, 296-hp horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine; this example has a six-speed manual gearbox. From air conditioning to inertia-activated rollhoops and airtight power convertible top, the Carrera Cabriolet is a very usable sports car in the grand traditions of this legendary German manufacturer.

The Porsche 911 was into it second year with a water-cooled engine by 1999 along with its restyled aero design. Although these two fundamental changes were initially met with some skepticism by the 911 faithful, time has proven that Porsche made the right decisions on both counts.

Finished in silver; the Porsche also has a black convertible top that is power-operated and the interior is said to be rare by being presented in red. With only its second owner, the first had the Porsche long term, and the car remains sparingly driven and well-cared-for to contribute to its outstanding condition and the odometer showing approximately 32,000 miles and the title showing actual. Among the equipment onboard are air conditioning, five-spoke factory alloy wheels, radio; power seats, mirrors, windows, steering and four-wheel disc brakes. A new rear window has just been installed in the top and it comes with a clean Carfax.

For many decades, the engineering and styling of Porsche remains a benchmark for others to attain.
