Chevrolet introduced new model names for 1946. The Master DeLuxe became the Stylemaster, while the Special DeLuxe was renamed the Fleetmaster. For 1948, the Stylemaster Six was the low-priced entry level Chevy, and was much overshadowed by the new streamlined Aero Sedan. The Stylemaster offered here is an absolute gem of a car. It has received a professional restoration in every area. The very crisp engine compartment is home to a straight-six mated to a column-shifted manual three-speed transmission. Not a stitch is out of place in the stunning interior with cloth upholstery, restored dash and components. The entire photogenic exterior deserves to be captured in a calendar of dream cars as every area sparkles like new.
