After many years of commercial illustration and historical railroad art, Jim returned to his roots with automotive art. His goal has always been to bring a mood and a sense of reality to the viewer. After studying with fine artist in Santa Fe he was just as concerned with the overall color and background as with the car itself. Mr. Finnell passed away in the early 1990'S.
