This V-16 Cadillac has a wonderful older restoration and remains in very good condition. The cars desirable V-16 engine measures 431-cid, 185-hp and has twin carburetors with a three-speed column-shift manual transmission. The engine and frame numbers are correct and indicate these components have a history together. The beautiful yellow coachwork is a Fleetwood Convertible Coupe that was fitted to this chassis at an undetermined time. The design looks fabulous on this Cadillac platform. The car benefits from a new red leather interior and a new black soft-top. The interior wood trim is an additional luxurious touch.
The design incorporates many elements that give this Cadillac a beautiful period look. These include skirted fenders, streamlined louver trim, vee’d “egg-crate” grille, covered dual sidemounts with attached mirrors, plus abundant and distinctive brightwork. The steel wheels are painted a complimentary red and have factory spec chrome hubcaps that are fitted with wide whitewall tires.
