This 1954 Corvette was acquired from J&C Auto Sales of Lake Ozarks, Missouri, by Europa Motor Cars of Dallas, Texas, which sold it to the current owner’s father on 13 November 1978. The Corvette was taken home and put in the family’s collection, and there it has remained ever since. Presented as a solid and intact “barn find,” it recorded 16,729 miles at the time of cataloguing, and is in solid overall condition, with a particularly nice correct red interior; the fit of the body panels are as-original, as are the finishes of the engine and chassis, which appear to be undisturbed. It would be the ideal basis for a complete restoration of this desirable first-generation ‘C1’ Corvette.
