Addendum
Please note this vehicle did not win the 2014 AMC Heritage Cup as stated in the catalog. But rather was the winner of the 2013 AMC Heritage Cup.

It is reported that this Big Bad Orange AMC AMX was built in September and sold new in California. All body panels, floors and drivetrain are said to be original and the AMX is thought to have had but a handful of owners. This restored car has received multiple awards including the American Motors Owners Associations Heritage Cup in 2013 (held until 2016) and the AACA's First Place - Grand National Award in 2016.

The AMX is generously fitted with the following options: Big Bad Orange paint, Rally side stripes, Performance 390 Go Package, power front disc brakes, Handling Package, E70 X 14 RWL tires, heavy-duty cooling, space saver spare, Ram Air induction, Twin Grip rear axle, Shift Command automatic with console, tinted glass throughout, air conditioning, Light Group, Visibility Group, Adjust-O-Tilt steering, AM/FM radio, leather bucket seats, power steering, sport steering wheel with rim-blow horn and “mag-styled" factory wheels. It also has the following dealer installed options: front underbody spoiler - Group 19, trendsetter, sidewinder exhaust and undercoating by the original selling dealer.

We are also informed that the car comes with an extra set of period correct radials mounted on correct wheels with correct trim rings and center caps, N.O.S. trunk mat, extra and correct TungSol headlights, hoses, spark plugs and a car cover. There is also a leather-bound book of restoration photos and an album featuring owner history, judging sheets and awards. There were no deductions shown on the judging sheet for the 2016 Grand National Award. Trophies and copies of the three magazines featuring the car come with the car. If you're looking for an AMX to add to your collection, show or to enjoy driving; there may arguably be none better, plus it “drives down the road like it should.”

This AMC AMX is a quite uncommon car; according to sources, the total build number for 1970 AMX’s was just 4,116 cars. Those set up like this must be far fewer in number; outstanding throughout.
