The 1963 Chevrolet Impala was one of General Motors’ most recognizable creations with its distinctive body style with crisp lines and pointed front and rear fenders. This style emphasizes the long, low slung car design popular in the early 1960s. The rear taillight panel was aluminum, and was surrounded by a chrome border with the engine-turned surface. The 1963 Impala featured all-new body style, with more obvious updates to the front end and rear taillamp area. Also updated was the straightened A-pillar, eliminating the previous year's use of a wrap-around windshield. Outside additions included SS overlays on the rear fender emblems, more simulated engine-turned treatment for the side molding inserts and the aforementioned wheel covers. Other options included a tachometer, power top and power steering.

This clean and “super straight” black beauty spent a good portion of its rust-free life in Washington State before heading to Montana in 1990. There are approximately 56,000 miles on the odometer and the owner conveys that they are thought to be original though the title shows exempt. Among the many features on this very popular Impala is a smooth-running 327-cid, 250-hp V-8 engine with a rebuilt carburetor that is mated to a console-shift Powerglide automatic transmission. The cars suspension is “newer,” and the Chevy also features gorgeously presented Tuxedo Black paint with an excellent black vinyl bucket seat interior, seatbelts, padded dash without cracking, pushbutton AM radio, dual chrome side mirrors, tinted windshield, all chrome and trim elements in beautiful original condition, Super Sport ornamentation, emblems and moldings, special factory SS wheel covers, radial whitewall tires; power steering and brakes.
