In 1965, Cadillac produced what they considered the most dramatically new Cadillac in 16-years. “So new…so right…so obviously Cadillac,” with remarkable styling – elegant, majestic and impressive as always – the 1965 Cadillac was an inspiration to look at and a revelation to drive.
This Matador Red with White leather and white top example has been restored and runs with the strong and reliable 429-cid, 340-hp V-8 engine which runs through a Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. Known for conveniences, this DeVille convertible doesn’t fall short and carries factory air conditioning, genuine Cadillac wire wheels, new radial whitewall tires; power top, windows, steering and brakes. Less than 20,000 copies of this popular car were built and far fewer have survived.
