The Camaro was basically unchanged for this model year, close inspection would show new front and rear side marker lights and vent-less door glass. The Camaro SS was easily identified by a distinctive stack-type hood, SS emblems and red stripe tires.
This convertible has undergone a complete restoration. It is said to be powered by its correct 396-cid V-8 backed by a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt Posi-traction rear end. It comes equipped with power disc brakes, and Rally wheels with redline tires. The red exterior is matched with a white convertible top and a lush white interior fitted with front bucket seats and rear bench seat.
With 20,000 convertibles manufactured in 1968, finding a big-block Camaro SS Convertible is certainly a rarity.
