The Jaguar XK8 was launched in 1996 at the Geneva and New York auto shows in a convertible or coupe model. They came standard with a V-8 engine, making it a well excepted successor to the XJS. The curve styling of this car is very reminiscent to the infamous E-Type Jaguar. The XK8 was the first totally designed and conceived car following Ford purchasing Jaguar.
