Distinguishable from other Corvette coupes by its wider tail section, 11-inch wide rear wheels and its new convex rear fascia with four square-shaped taillights, the Corvette ZR-1 displayed astounding capabilities in acceleration and handling, but also carried an astoundingly high MSRP of $58,995, almost twice the cost of a non-ZR-1.
Powered by its 350-cid, 350-hp LT5 V-8 engine and six-speed manual transmission, this beautiful ZR-1 is fully loaded with every available option. The engine has just 38,000 miles and the interior features red leather interior, factory BOSE CD player, cruise control, air conditioning and removable glass top. Noted by the owner as an absolute time-capsule; the ZR-1 dubbed as the “King of the Hill”, achieves its impressive top speed of over 185-mph on its original factory aluminum wheels.
