This 4,600 mile “Boattail” replica was hand-built by Speedster Motor Cars. It has been crafted to the dimensions of the classic 1936 Auburn 852SC Speedster, while featuring the mechanical intricacies of modern day. Much detail was put into duplicating Gordon Buehrig’s famed styling, honoring characteristics including simulated external exhausts, a signature sweeping grille line, “Supercharged” badging, spotlights, driving lights and wind wings. Inside the interior features white leather seats, black carpet, tilt steering, banjo-style steering wheel and engine-turned dashboard with white-face instrument gauges. Conveniences consist of air conditioning; power seats, windows, steering and four-wheel disc brakes.

Speedster Motorcars builds their cars with all new components, the powertrain is a 5.3-liter Chevrolet V-8 engine with a floor-shift automatic transmission. The Auburn is superb throughout, including the undercarriage.
