This special Camaro is documented by the original and subsequent owners and accompanied by the original paperwork and Protect-O-Plate, as one of only 206 built with the ultra-rare JL8 four-wheel disc brake option. It was originally sold to Mr. Robert Boyette of Oakhurst, NJ, and finished in Fathom Green with White Sport Stripes and a Dark Green interior. It was equipped with the Z28-specific 302-cid, 290-hp DZ small-block and four-speed manual transmission. As part of a rotisserie restoration the car received numerous GM NOS parts. In refinishing the car, the original Fathom Green was replaced with Rallye Green with black stripes. The original green interior was changed to RPO Z23 Special Black upholstery. Over a dozen years later the resulting presentation remains exceptionally pleasing to the eye. In recent times, the car was purchased by noted wrestler / actor / musclecar enthusiast, John Cena.
