One of the earliest coin operated “juke boxes”, patent dated 1897, walnut, with coin receptors on each cabinet side. Discovered in a British pub forty years ago, the top trim piece has been removed & replaced with mirror top. Turned legs, side pillars and old glass in the door. Slight damage to front fretwork in the door. Disk 19 ½” plays perfectly and the rich sound of the music fills the room. Coin mechanism functions properly with coins descending into coin drawer below.
