On offer is this spectacular “true X22 code” SS396 Camaro that has been the recipient of a two year professional restoration, and it has been driven less than 100 miles since completion.

The Camaro is reported to have its original trim tag confirming its color combination of code 10 Tuxedo Black paint with code 718 Red Standard interior. According to sources, only two-percent of 1969 Camaros were painted in this color and just three-percent received this interior tone. This makes this a rare combination indeed – rather surprisingly because these colors look fantastic together; especially with the red body stripes and the Redline tires accenting the factory SS wheels. The 396-cid V-8 engine is not original to this car, but the installed unit is the correct date code according to the consignor. The transmission is the desirable four-speed manual and the rear end has 3.55:1 gearing.

The interior has received equally nice treatment and features bucket seats, center console with Special Instrumentation and radio. Power steering and brakes are also a part of this package.
