V8TV teams up with Royal Purple Synthetic Oil to build a real-world 1969 Camaro convertible.

Beginning with a stock 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, the on-screen crew at V8TV transformed the car into an updated street performer, while keeping the original envelope intact. Featuring a 430-hp crate engine for power and a five-speed manual overdrive transmission, tubular suspension components and large four-wheel disc brakes contribute to the modern ride, handling and increased road feel while the overdrive transmission adds to fuel economy.

This was a real Camaro that got completely re-bodied, save for the windshield frame and the rear inner quarter supports. Built on a Schwartz Chassis, Baer brakes, YearOne body panels, resto parts, Tremec TKO 500, Bonspeed wheels, Hooker exhaust, MSD ignition, Holley fuel system, Vintage Air and Royal Purple fluids, The whole car build is in video on V8TV show.com.
