The second-generation Corvette of 1963 brought a stunning fastback coupe model, the first fully-closed body on a ‘Vette. Immediately popular, it sold nearly as well as the convertible, coming within 300 cars of the soft-top’s volume. Its split rear window, however, drew criticism for its poor visibility, so for 1964 and later it was redesigned as a curved one-piece item.

Looking elegant in silver, this 1965 Corvette Coupe has a black leather interior with dark blue headliner. It is equipped with power steering, seat belts, windshield washers, AM/FM radio, and side pipes. Goodyear Integrity radial tires are mounted on the optional knockoff alloy wheels.

The fit and finish on this example are very good, and the car is clean throughout, including underneath. The winner of regional and national Top Flight Awards in National Corvette Restorer’s Society competition, it is ready for appearance at Bloomington. An original radio instruction manual is included with the car.
