There were only 191 Chrysler 300D convertibles produced in 1958, which were even less than the C in 1957 with only 487 made. Now, there are less than 20 of this particular combination known to exist. In addition, 1958 was also the final year of the Hemi V-8 engine for the Chrysler letter series, producing an output of 390 horsepower.

This example has been documented and authenticated by the Chrysler 300 Club, and includes its original build sheets. It is equipped with the rare Hemi V-8 engine and is mated to a Torqueflite automatic transmission. It has undergone a complete frame-off restoration and has totaled over two years of workmanship.

There are 0 miles on the engine and transmission since being restored, and everything has been correctly reworked or replaced with original equipment. This includes the brake lines, exhausts, top, chrome pieces, and dash. It is finished in Ermine white with a white top and white wall tires. It is very sharp and has a timeless style with its long stretching tailfins and a widely recognized top forward stance.
