The Bentley Special is restored and built to the looks and style of the Bentley race cars of old. Remodeled in the style of the 1930 Bentley Grand Prix, this car uses an original 1951 Bentley Mark VI chassis with modern components giving it high technical standards with performance to match. This recreation utilizes the original Vanden four-seat LeMans fabric, cycle-style fenders, and a fine oak tool box keeping the style dated and accurate. The top has been finely tailored and includes a cover for when retracted. Additional classic-styling features are a folding windshield, racing screens, original style seat upholstery, dash instrumentation and period style headlamps with twin fog lights. The engine is powered by a Marshall Group custom 350-cid V-8 engine with 365-hp and 390 foot pounds of torque. This car has a Mustang II style front end with rack-and-pinion steering. It also has a 40 gallon 1930s LeMans style gas tank with quick-fill application, completing it with a classic style that is both rally and street durable.
