This “Woody” was produced by Ford Motor Company in England and reportedly was built as a right hand drive taxi. It has an original dealership brass tag inside above driver door, "Jack Barclay Ltd." London, and is a survivor of the WWII bombings in London. It is stated to have its original 85-hp flathead V-8 engine and is mated with a three-speed manual transmission. It has undergone some frame-on freshening and maintenance work, but exhibits true originality. Its wood is original with some minor repairs when needed, plus it has its original wheels, mechanical brakes and chassis. It has a 6-volt electrical system and has unique fender mounted running lights marked, King of England

In March 2010, $3,500 was spent for a thorough inspection and to make necessary mechanical repairs. The following has been replaced; generator cut out, kick panels, battery cables, hood panel welting, under radiator hoses, full exhaust system, air cleaner filters, temperature gauges, fuel line rubber pump, fuel line pump to carburetor, points, condenser, rotor & caps, fire wall harness grommet, fuel line from tank to pump, spark plug wires, hood bumpers, horn relay, wiper blades, door straps, grille, wiring, and glove box. It has a rebuilt distributer, and repaired turn signals, dash lights, door hinges, dome light, glove box latch, parking lights, horns, tail light, and head lights.

It has been consistently maintained and kept in running order.
