Custom built for Emily Sears by Edgerton B. McNear of Brookline, Mass. McNear was a custom builder for the Rich and Famous of that Era. Edgerton used the original body off of Emily's 1924 Locomobile by installing it on this 1940 Model 160 Super 8 Packard. During his reign as motor car designer for the well-to-do he created a few truly magnificent cars such as this Packard. This automotible (motor car) runs, drives and rides great and will easily cruise at 60-65 mph.
