Leading the way for Porsche dominance at the event was Jo Siffert and Kurt Ahrens Jr. in a 917. Another 917 piloted by Richard Attwood and Brian Redman finished third behind a Lola, in second, and was followed by a number of Porsches in the top 10, including four 908s and a 910.
