With its origins dating to 1791, the Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux became associated with Ferrari in 1994 following the acquisition of the company by Italian rally champion, Luigi ‘Gino’ Macaluso. One of the earliest creations from the partnership was the Sport Timer, the only type to be created from anew in the 10 years of the association.

The Sport Timer features a 53-millimetre diameter titanium case, which protects the mechanical movement. Beautifully appointed with a black dial and contrasting white hands and numerals, this Sport Timer is presented in a stunning wooden case with a brown leather strap.

This example is numbered 371 and features a plaque marking the 25th anniversary meeting of the Ferrari Owners’ Club Switzerland in 1997. It is believed that fewer than 1,000 examples were produced, so this rare piece is an unmissable opportunity for dedicated tifosi.
