Debuting at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, the Bentley Azure was considered one of the last great Bentleys before the VW take over a few years later. As successor to the Continental R, it was clear that pedigree was in mind with the Auzre design, and that luxury was paramount in producing an engineering master piece. The men and women at the Crewe, England factory where all Azures received their final approval, did a tremendous job with old-world craftsmanship. The leather, wood and metal finishes are truly impressive. This car easily translates to pure luxury.

The example on offer here was sold new as a triple white example in Florida, December of 2000. It has been enjoyed by two owners since this point and was regularly serviced by Bentley Ft. Lauderdale with records going back to 2005. It shows approximately 37,000 miles and is in excellent condition overall.

The exterior shows the car has never been repainted. It shows to be a very straight example and shows nicely with no blemishes in the rubber components or glass. The wheels are not curbed like many, and the tires are newer with much life left. The metal finishes shine well, and all exterior lighting is in proper working order.

Upon entering the interior, one finds clean door jams, and seats that show like 15,000 miles rather than 37,000 miles. They are very clean and lightly worn to the effect of having a nice patina. The center console, wood work, dash fascia, rear seats, carpets, headliner are all in excellent condition with no issues to be noted. In general, the interior of this Azure is very nice, with stellar craftsmanship and very comfortable.

Upon starting the car it turns over instantly, runs, drives, handles, and stops very well for a car weighing nearly 5,700 pounds. The 6.75-liter Turbo V-8 churns out nearly 385-hp and is no slouch and elegantly climbs to speed with ease, and quickly too. The oil pressure and cooling are all within acceptable ranges and all systems appear to be working as expected. The car does come with detailed service records since 2005, and most recently we have noted new engine amount along with the very common replacement of the accumulator for the brake system. As such this car is completely up to date in terms of service.

The entire car has been detailed and a recent service completed so that the new owner is ready to enjoy this Azure. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a $350,000 car when new, for a fraction of the cost and is a sensible addition as a weekend driver to any collection. Included in the sale are all keys, books and tools.
