Bruno Senna, nephew of the late Ayrton Senna, raced for Formula 1 from 2010–2012. For 2011 Senna was signed to Lotus Renault as a test and reserve driver. He would take over for Nick Heidfeld for the 12th race of the season at the Belgian Grand Prix. Senna’s best finish of the season came at the Italian Grand Prix, where he finished 9th and scored his first and only two points of the season.
Presented here is an OMP racing suit from Senna’s time with the Lotus Renault team. Notably, the interior tag is inscribed “B. Senna” along with the team “Lotus.” The outside waist belt is also printed with his name in the iconic gold trim that harkens back to the famous Lotus sponsor of past.
