The F1 W03 was the third Silver Arrow of the new era and, like its predecessors, was driven by Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. At the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix, Rosberg claimed not only a maiden pole position, but also the first-ever win for Mercedes AMG Petronas. It was also Mercedes’ first pole position and win since the 1955 Italian Grand Prix. Between Rosberg and Schumacher, the lineup scored three podium finishes that year.
The underside of this rear body cover is inscribed “MS” and, as such, is believed to have been used on one of Michael Schumacher’s cars for the 2012 season.
