The F399 was introduced by Ferrari in 1999 as an evolution of the previous year’s F300. Though an accident at the British Grand Prix would sideline Michael Schumacher for much of the season, also ending his championship hopes, his back-to-back victories at San Marino and Monaco would propel Ferrari to their first Constructors’ Championship since 1983.
This 1:8 scale F399 is modeled after Michael Schumacher’s grand prix win at San Marino and is a limited edition of 60 models produced by Amalgam. Please note that the right-hand side mirror and onboard camera mounted above the driver require minor repair. Furthermore, the acrylic case will need to be repaired or replaced.
